homemade dinner rolls
Ingredients :
- 4 -5 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons rapid rise yeast
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1½ cups warm milk
- 5 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 egg , room temperature
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
This will yield 24 rolls.
Steps:
In a bowl, add yeast and sugar. Pour in the warm milk. Mix and let it bubble and sit for 5 mins.Add salt, softened butter, egg and flour. Mix and kneed for 5-7 minutes. Let it rise for 1 hr or double the size.
Divide the dough into 24 parts. Form it like a ball. Arrange in baking pan. Let it rest and double it’s size.
Warm the oven at 375 F. Bake the dinner rolls for 20-25 minutes. Brush with melted butter and ready to served.
